Jaime Eduardo Pavón Avilés Photographer - Fotógrafo - Ecuador Was born in Quito, Ecuador on July 21, 1984. He attended the Pensionado Universitario High School. His college studies were at "Universidad Central Del Ecuador", School of Communications, where he is currently attending his last semester. His work experience began at a early age; when he started as a theatre actor. At the age of 13 he was chosen (along with other children), to be part of a GamaVision (TV channel) production. Later on, he worked for a company called "La Fiesta Mágica" where he organized children’s parties and shows. Simultaneously, he was a voice over doing foreign movies for Televozandes (TV channel). After graduating from high school he started working in Asomavisión (TV Channel) where he was a production assistant of a show named "TVhogar". At the same time, he was collaborating with the sports section of the Benjamin Carrión radio station. Later on he began to work as a photographer. Then he was employed doing producing the radio show, Sexto Día Sonorama " with Eduardo Khalifé. At age 20, Jamie was selected as the lead photographer for the teen magazine “Sí.” One year later he became the photojournalist for "Hoy" newspaper, and was there for a year when he decided to leave to finish his college studies. Since then, he has worked on personal projects, freelance photography for " El Universo" newspaper, BG Magazine, LatinPhoto Agency and other communication companies. In addition to his college courses, Jaime studied basic Photography, advanced and Top Workshop 1 at the French Alliance of Ecuador, Photography is his passion and Jaime strongly believes that new things can be learned at all times.
